Prime Leisure's recent track record is weak. One-star reviews describe misleading tour packages, poor organization, and a pattern of promising more than is delivered. Older five-star reviews praise their staff professionalism, but later complaints reveal they resell third-party excursions at higher prices while failing to communicate last-minute cancellations or delivery mismatches. Multiple reviewers recommend competitors instead.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
Recent shift: Sentiment has deteriorated significantly. Five-star reviews are from 7 years ago and praise staff professionalism; one-star reviews cluster between 6 years ago and one year ago, citing transparency and delivery failures. No recent positive reviews to suggest improvement.
All three reviewers returned five-star ratings after donation-based and themed walking tours in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. Guides Pooi Ling, Lewis, and Farah earned specific mention for local knowledge, willingness to adjust itineraries on the fly, and curating restaurant experiences that paired well with historical and cultural stops.
Andy and his team handled a same-day booking for a Kuala Selangor night tour smoothly, including hotel pickup, monkey feeding with photos, dinner, and fireflies. Staff were polite and transparent about pricing.
Smart Travel Malaysia earns five stars consistently for handling day-tour logistics smoothly. Reviewers praise responsive support staff, clear itineraries that avoid rushing between stops, and ticket prices that compete well in the market.
