Best airport transfer & private transport in Johor Bahru
This list covers businesses in Johor Bahru that specialise in airport transfers and private car transport, ranked by our methodology, an earned composite score built from rating, review volume, recency, sentiment and profile completeness.
Full day-tour and multi-stop itinerary specialists are ranked separately on our best tour operator overall page. Here the focus stays narrow: point-to-point transfers, private car hire and JB Sentral or Larkin-based rentals, ordered by how consistently reviewers vouch for punctuality, driver conduct and vehicle condition.
Picks are ranked by score and relevance to airport transfer & private transport, so a lower overall score can rank higher here.

Ranked picks
Causeway Car Rental Johor Bahru - Free JB Sentral Pickup & Dropoff
Why it ranks first

Pros
- Free JB Sentral pickup and dropoff
- Staff accommodate last-minute and same-day bookings
- Clean, well-maintained vehicles
- Staff answer car questions at any time
Services: day tours, airport transfer transport, group corporate tours
AJ Express Travel & Tour SDN BHD | JOHOR BAHRU AIRPORT PRIVATE CAR SERVICES
Why it ranks second
Two years of steady bookings back up a 4.8 rating from 159 reviews, with reviewers naming individual drivers like Fareez and Azmi for going beyond the standard pickup. It's built specifically around airport private car service, and flight delays get absorbed without drama.
Pros
- Punctual pickups, even with flight delays
- Drivers handle schedule changes quickly
- Clean, comfortable vehicles
- Fast response to enquiries
Watch out: Review volume is solid but smaller than the market leader, so pricing and fleet size are worth confirming directly.
Services: day tours, airport transfer transport, private custom tours, group corporate tours
GOBIG CAR RENTAL & TRANSPORT LARKIN SENTRAL
Why it ranks third
Based right at Larkin Sentral, this rental and transport outfit is handy for anyone arriving by bus and needing a car onward. All three reviews on record are five stars, citing clear communication and well-kept vehicles.
Pros
- Convenient Larkin terminal location
- Well-maintained rental fleet
Watch out: Only three reviews so far, so treat the track record as promising rather than proven.
Services: day tours, group corporate tours, airport transfer transport
Rajawali Bintang Travel Sdn. Bhd.
Why it ranks fourth
Rajawali Bintang draws consistent five-star feedback for staff who are kind, professional and noted as particularly welcoming to Muslim travellers. Itineraries and transfers come across as well organised and competitively priced.
Pros
- Muslim-friendly service
- Well-organised, complete itineraries
- Friendly, professional staff
- Competitive pricing
Watch out: Only 16 reviews on file, all recent and positive, but still a small sample.
Services: day tours, group corporate tours, airport transfer transport
Tour and transport specialist
Why it ranks fifth
This operator covers airport transport, day tours, sightseeing, shuttle service and cargo moving under one roof, and the two reviews on record are both five stars praising friendly, safe service. The evidence base is thin, with both reviews now over four years old.
Pros
- Airport transfer and day-tour transport in one service
- Also handles cargo and moving jobs
Watch out: Only two reviews, both several years old, so recent service quality isn't well documented.
Services: airport transfer transport, day tours
Skylandsea Travel & Tours
Why it ranks sixth
Skylandsea has a complete business profile listing airport transfer and private transport as a core service, but there is only a single review (one star) to go on, so sentiment can't be reliably judged. Worth a direct enquiry to check current service standards before booking.
Pros
- Listed specialist in airport transfer and private transport
- Full contact and profile details available
Watch out: Only one review on record and it's low-rated, so there isn't enough data to vouch for consistent service.
Services: day tours, group corporate tours, airport transfer transport
