Travel Recommends operates eSIM and travel WiFi rental from Ipoh, serving tourists across Asia and Europe. Most recent reviews consistently praise named staff (Nazmi, Tommy, Neesha) for quick, patient support and trouble-shooting while traveling. However, a notable complaint alleges deposit retention after a cancelled device collection, resulting in regulatory action at KLIA airports. The business primarily sells mobile data solutions rather than tours, yet remains listed in tour categories.
Recent shift: Regulatory closure at KLIA airports in recent years suggests operational or compliance issues that may be ongoing; unclear if business continues airport services. Positive reviews cluster around one year ago; only one recent one-star review aired unresolved refund complaint.
Most reviewers praise Ipoh Golden Dragon for courteous staff (notably Miss Lulu) and affordable pricing. A five-year span and small sample size limit depth; one dated complaint about service suggests early growing pains.
Golden Century runs domestic and international tours from Ipoh, with guides who adapt schedules to weather and manage groups thoughtfully. However, multiple reviews flag sudden cancellations and surprise cost hikes after deposits were paid, raising trust concerns.
Parlo Tours is a travel agency in Ipoh known for organized tours and dependable booking help. Staff like Ms Ho Yin Chee earn praise for patience and dedication, though a handful of reviews note unmet expectations.
