Parlo Tours runs group and custom trips across Asia with strong core feedback on tour leader professionalism and value. However, recent tours to Thailand, Morocco and Turkey reveal gaps: halal hotel assurances failed, local guides skipped promised sites or rushed groups, and hotels were swapped last-minute. Check meal and site specifics carefully before booking.
Review evidence is limited: only one Google review on file. The business operates from Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur, and their website lists adventure packages across Sabah and Sarawak including cave tours, mountain climbs, wildlife reserves, and diving excursions.
Han Travel handles multi-day jungle packages and transfers smoothly when operations run, with guides like Mushroom, Musliadi, and Kopi Kopi earning consistent praise for knowledge and patience. Many trips depart on time and reach destinations safely. Yet office communication is unreliable, emails go unanswered, and front-desk interactions range from witty and warm to dismissive and rude. Driver conduct varies; some reviewers felt safe and comfortable, others report reckless speed. Lost luggage and damaged bags rarely prompt follow-up from the company. Taman Negara packages (2-3 days, RM 600 day tour to multi-day) attract most reviews. Reviewers note the jungle heat, humidity, and crowd size temper wildlife spotting. Single mothers and nervous first-time travelers report Han helped reassure them and handled logistics well. A handful of customers praise rapid recovery (a driver delivered a forgotten bag after four hours). Price disputes center on transfer costs seeming high relative to other agencies. Xcape Resort, their Taman Negara partner, gets criticized as remote and basic.
Most guests praise Asian Trails for knowledgeable guides, quick responses, and flexible planning. Named staff like Abii Kanapathi, Indhiran, and Jackie earned high marks for depth of knowledge and personal care. One serious 2021 complaint about guide Abii's unprofessional conduct, unmet promises, and poor restaurant choices stands out sharply against the broader pattern of satisfaction.
