Penang Tour And Transport Service

5.0(213)✓ Google-verified

Penang Tour and Transport Service earns consistent five-star praise for drivers who combine professionalism with local knowledge. Reviewers repeatedly name staff like Jazz, Shah, Zainol, and Saravanan, highlighting their willingness to adapt plans and explain Penang's history and culture during journeys. Response is fast (WhatsApp recommended), vehicles are clean and spacious, and booking is straightforward even at short notice. The operation handles family day trips, airport transfers, and multi-day tours with equal care. One reviewer noted that itinerary details sometimes reach the driver late, but this appears rare against the broader pattern of well-paced, comfortable journeys where travelers feel genuinely looked after rather than just transported.

Cooking with Chef Samuel

Cooking with Chef Samuel

5.0(431)✓ Google-verified

Samuel transforms a cooking class into a full Penang immersion. Morning starts at the local wet market, where he guides ingredient selection and shares stories about produce and dishes. Back in his clean, organized studio, he explains technique, flavor balance, and history behind each recipe-often tailoring the menu to dietary needs and skill level beforehand. Reviewers leave confident they can recreate the food at home and with genuine insider knowledge of Malaysian food culture. His fluency in multiple languages and relaxed teaching style make the experience welcoming to everyone from beginners to experienced home cooks. Dishes like Laksa Lemak, Sambal Goreng, Ikan Bakar, and Ondeh-Ondeh consistently earn praise. Many note the class ranks among their trip's highlights-partly because Samuel offers practical tips for alternatives and recommendations for local eating spots, treating the day as cultural mentorship rather than just instruction.
