Most pilgrims report smooth, well-organised umrah experiences with clear guidance and close accommodation to the holy mosques. But recent complaints reveal communication breakdowns: staff at Bangi branch ignored cancellation notices, deposits were forfeited without proper follow-up, and some callers cannot reach the company at all.
Most trips booked through Righteous Travel are well-organized with attentive service, especially when led by owner Chepah. Communication is prompt, and the team tailors pacing to mixed-age groups. One reviewer reported unhelpful staff, though this is isolated.
Reviewers consistently report smooth, informative day trips led by named drivers (Jason, Ram, Maran, Jack, Rames, Narun) who adjust plans to guests' pace and interests. Standout stops include Mossy Forest, tea plantations, and strawberry farms. Staff take photos, recommend meals, and answer questions throughout. Tours run 6.30am to 5.00pm with comfortable vehicles and relaxed atmosphere. Drivers speak English, pick up from hotels, and go beyond typical roles as photographers and cultural guides. One note: entrance fees appear separate from quoted prices, and weekend afternoons draw crowds at popular sites.
Five years of reliably booked trips across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, with drivers who double as photographers and problem-solvers. Van rentals from Ipoh to Redang, Thailand runs to Hatyai, and long-haul packages to Bandung stay clean, punctual, and customer-focused even on extended journeys.
